Within this framework, we've devised three key strategic pillars: "supply chain carbon reduction," "climate change resilience," and "low-carbon products." These pillars serve as our compass in identifying climate change risks and opportunities, setting reduction targets, and driving our initiatives.

We are proactively engaging with international environmental initiatives such as SDGs, SBT, CDP, and TCFD. Setting science-based goals, we are taking concrete actions to build resilience to climate risks and mitigate the growing threat of climate disasters on our business operations.

Leveraging the SBT (Science-Based Targets) carbon calculation platform, we are establishing annual carbon reduction targets that align with the goal of limiting global warming to within 1.5ºC.
Zyxel Communications commits to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 50% by 2030 and achieving net-zero emissions by 2040*, using 2021 as the base year.
* We plan to reach net-zero emissions in our own operations by 2040 and aim to extend this goal across our supply chain with the latest target set for by 2050.
