Kuala Lumpur, May 6, 2024 – Zyxel Communications today announced its participation in the Defence Services Asia Exhibition and Conference (DSA) in Malaysia from May 6th to 9th, 2024. Zyxel showcased products will include the latest Software-Defined Radios (SDR) series, various types of data link radio systems dedicated to Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs), satellite communication modules, advanced radar systems, and new electronic warfare reconnaissance direction finding devices.
Software-Defined Radios (SDR) Series
With years of experience in developing military-grade SDRs, Zyxel offers a range of tactical radios, spanning from ultra-high frequency to very high-frequency wave radios. These products can be installed on various military vehicles, warships, intelligence-based warfare, and aircraft. Zyxel has successfully deployed over 20,000 units in active service featuring anti-jamming capabilities.
Data Link Radio System for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs)
The unmanned vehicles play a critical role in warfare. The performance of these vehicles heavily relies on the quality of the data link used for guidance and image transmission. Zyxel has successfully developed data link radio systems that are compact and energy-efficient and tailored for different types of unmanned vehicles, capable of meeting short-, medium-, and long-range transmission needs, and demonstrating exceptional performance in scenarios with interference threats.
Advanced Radar Systems
Zyxel has developed various advanced radar system technologies, including pulse radars, frequency-modulated continuous wave radars, and dual-mode radars, widely used for coastal surveillance and naval applications. Zyxel provides a new type of electronic warfare reconnaissance and surveillance direction-finding system. Not only does it cover a wide frequency range with high accuracy, but it also can detect high-speed frequency-hopping signals, securing its position in the market for advanced electronic warfare reconnaissance and surveillance systems.
