Unleashing Seamless Connectivity and Guest Experiences at Jeju Eco Resort Hotel

In an environment like a hotel, a stable network with QoS is crucial for guests to access various OTT content such as Netflix and YouTube, while roaming support ensures uninterrupted WiFi throughout the entire premises. The Juju Eco Resort Hotel sought the expertise of the Zyxel team to install the appropriate network equipment. Following a thorough site visit and evaluation, public areas such as lobbies, restaurants, and offices were equipped with WAX610D WiFi 6 APs to optimize performance for multiple users in high-density environments. To address WiFi signal reduction caused by concrete walls, a WAC500H wall-mounted AP was installed discreetly in each guestroom, seamlessly integrating smooth WiFi, PoE, and IPTV services behind TVs without compromising room aesthetics. The wired and wireless networks were separated using Zyxel's USG FLEX 700 firewall and switches via VLANs to accommodate diverse network access. The USG FLEX 700 integrates AP control and security functions, simplifying network management. Firewall redundancy ensures uninterrupted 24/7 service, and automatic line switching during line failures guarantees continuous hotel operations. Zyxel's remote management platform enables real-time equipment health checks, minimizing downtime and facilitating quick problem resolution for simplified network management.
