What colour of network management would you choose?

The car maker Henry Ford is famously quoted as having said, when talking about the Model T, that any customer can have a car painted any colour they want, so long as it’s black. Of course, it is always nice to have a real choice and we’re pleased to say that Zyxel customers who purchase our wireless access points have an excellent set of options when it comes to managing their devices.
With NebulaFlex Pro you can manage access points as stand-alone devices, by using a dedicated controller, or via the cloud through our Nebula Control Center. We have started to offer this set of options on more or our access points over the last few months and the latest model to be enhanced in this way is the WAC500.
Ultimate flexibility
The WAC500 is an 802.11ac Wave 2 access point with dual radio functionality that supports data rates of up to 1200 Mbps. It also comes with a one-year Nebula Professional Pack license, giving customers flexibility to use any of these management approaches and switch between them, if they wish to, at any time.
It is PoE-powered and can be easily mounted for convenience and maximum availability, on a ceiling or wall. This makes it suitable for any office, hospitality, or public environment, such as a school or hospital, where the device needs to be easily accessible but also unobtrusive.
The WAC500 series is already a popular choice for fast, reliable WiFi access. The addition of NebulaFlex Pro means that it offers even more flexibility and even better value. An increasing proportion of Zyxel customers are moving towards managing their networks through the Nebula cloud service. But they want to do that when it suits them.

With NebulaFlex Pro they can choose exactly how they want to manage their wireless access points. Whether that’s locally or remotely, in-house, or by using the expert services of one of Zyxel’s expert managed services provider partners, with NebulaFlex Pro, our customers can make their own choice.
